2. General information

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the statutory provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, or social media plugins.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit the website, the web server automatically records information transmitted by your browser (server log files). This includes:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • page or file requested
  • referrer URL (previously visited page)
  • browser and operating system used

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and without disruption. Log files are deleted automatically after a short period unless longer storage is required for evidential purposes. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the host pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

4. Fonts and icons

All fonts and icons used on this website are stored locally on our server. No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is established when you visit our pages.

5. Contacting us by email

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, content of your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The data will be deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Google Maps

On our contact page you can choose to display a map from the Google Maps service, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is only loaded after you actively click “Load map”. Only then is data, in particular your IP address, transmitted to Google. This may include a transfer to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time by reloading the page; the map will then no longer be displayed. For more information, please see Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

The “Open in Google Maps” links lead to Google’s website. Data is only transmitted to Google once you click such a link.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock icon and “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

8. Your rights

Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

  • access your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
